This gem has been going for over a decade and is one of the most authentic Chinese restaurants in the city. Don't expect Molton Brown washroom products. This intrinsic Dubai luxury will fade into insignificance after sampling what this shiny gold and red eatery has to offer. A station where noodles are cooked from scratch, hotpot and tasty, no-frills Chinese cuisine that doesn't involve a bank loan, with a log book of loyal regulars. The kitchen is open (behind glass) and there is a prevalent language barrier, but the menu is pretty self-explanatory. Ingredients are fresh and a self-service area offers groceries with delicacies like sea cucumbers and chicken feet. Portions are meant to be shared and diners can select from the menu or opt for raw ingredients cooked to order.
