The spa has all the essential facilities for a luxury spa including separate changing rooms for men and women with lockers, showers and toilets, each having their own heat experiences (sauna and steam room). There are also separate relaxation areas where guests can stay and enjoy their calm state, overlooking the beautiful swimming pool and the beach. The main highlight of this wellness space is the unique and generous sized Hammam located in the center of the spa, which has a stunning view of the Arabian Gulf, its own steam room and tepidarium for pre and post treatment relaxation and socializing. The unique Sunset Hammam treatment, which takes place while you bask in the dramatic glow of the setting sun setting over the Arabian Sea, is truly a highlight.
The modern approach to traditional Arabic design is also reflected in the reception and spa souk area of the spa, also known as the Souk at the Nine. Some of the key features of this space include a play counter that has a large samovar, a working tap to wash your hands. Guests are invited to use this to test products and receive a welcome wash. The retail wall display unit is interchangeable and retail boxes are positioned all around the souk, encouraging guests to move around the unique retail space. The retail range is also unique as it’s not just spa products but also has lifestyle products such as candles, oil diffusers, pillows, artwork, Arabic and Persian ceramics, backgammon boards, not to mention Hammam bathing products, resort fashion (kaftans, clutch bags, beach bags etc) and signature NINE Degrees products as well.
