La Caricature De Presse Dans La Construction De La Culture Politique Paperback

The book presents an interpretative perspective of political culture, conceived as a process of (re) constructing the political values ​​of a society, a construction analyzed on the basis of a body of journalistic caricatures in the context of Romania. The study proposes a symbolic reading of a set of caricatures, made by a group of Romanian students, in order to capture the contribution of caricature in the process of (re) construction of political culture. Theoretical argument, based on studies of political culture, social construction of reality, reception and analysis of caricature, is complemented by an interpretive methodological approach that offers an in-depth look at the political meanings built by the receivers from the messages of the caricatures. We have been able to observe both the dynamics of the process of building the Romanian political culture, between the communist symbolic reminiscences and the new European values, that the capacity of the press caricature to participate, through the process of its reception, to the reconstruction of political meaning.
