Florian Follert analyzes the judicial company valuation for the purpose of the compensation of minority shareholders and shows that the valuation models used are less oriented towards the standard-purpose adequacy but rather towards the particular interests of certain actors. Based on an empirical study, an actual state of the judicial company valuation is determined that does not correspond to the theoretical target state. On the basis of the New Political Economy, Florian Follert designs a possible explanation for this finding. The work is interdisciplinary in that it combines business administration and economics with law.
