Since 1995, the European Union (EU) has been investing more and more in Bosnia and Herzegovina, politically, economically and security, with a very specific aim: to make this country one of its states members. But is this accession to the European Union really possible? This book proposes a study on EU investment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and more specifically on the strategies it is developing vis-à-vis Bosnia in 2008-2009 to enable it to join as soon as possible deadlines. This book explores three areas of investigation: the EU's specific policy for the "Western Balkans" and the individual program that the EU has proposed to Bosnia and Herzegovina; the requirements of the EU that have been filled by Bosnia and elements that hinder reforms; prognoses for future membership of this country. However, the EU is showing signs of fatigue in the inefficiency and lack of efforts of Bosnian leaders, and is thus out of strategy. Does this mean abandoning the idea of ​​Bosnia membership?
