The modern approach to traditional Arabic design is also reflected in the reception and spa souk area of the spa, also known as the Souk at the Nine. Some of the key features of this space include a play counter that has a large samovar, a working tap to wash your hands. Guests are invited to use this to test products and receive a welcome wash. The retail wall display unit is interchangeable and retail boxes are positioned all around the souk, encouraging guests to move around the unique retail space. The retail range is also unique as it’s not just spa products but also has lifestyle products such as candles, oil diffusers, pillows, artwork, Arabic and Persian ceramics, backgammon boards, not to mention Hammam bathing products, resort fashion (kaftans, clutch bags, beach bags etc) and signature NINE Degrees products as well.
