Diyar International Private School Dibba was established in 2008 by H.H. Sheikh Saleh Bin Mohamed Bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Department of Industry and Economics to give the people of Dibba access to a school delivering the American curriculum in English.    The school is now in the care of his son Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al Sharqi, Chairman of Emirates Educational Services.

The school’s custom-built campus is designed to accommodate a large number of students, from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in two separate buildings with separate facilities for boys and girls.

The school offers an enhanced American curriculum that includes English, Mathematics, Science, History, Art, Physical Education, IT along with some electives for High School including Business, Science/Math, Arts, Language, and Computer Science. Diyar also provides the four compulsory subjects from the Ministry of Education: Islamic Education, Arabic Language, Social Studies, and Moral Education

The curriculum is designed to meet the unique and diverse educational needs of each student, as well as to enable each student to reach their maximum potential and competencies. The school also promotes the continuous development of all of its students by maximizing the use of technology in the classes to prepare them for the 21st Century.

The school has a number of facilities that contribute to the creation of an attractive educational environment, including: gyms and swimming pools, an outside sports area with a basketball court and volleyball court, nine state of the art science laboratories; including specialist labs for students in grades 9 to 12, computer labs some with facilities for robotics, a school library to encourage all of our students to read widely, clinics with qualified nursing staff to look after the health and well-being of our students and a school cafeteria in each building serving healthy food options.

The school also provides transportation services for students to different areas using a fleet of yellow school buses fitted with the latest in safety technologies to ensure its students have a comfortable and safe trip to school and return home every day.
