To visit the Top of Burj Khalifa, we had to do a booking in advance and purchase tickets on their website. It is awe inspiring, a must see for anyone in Dubai. The tallest building in the world is definitely something you want to tick off your bucket list. It is quite heavy on your pocket though! So we reached Dubai Mall via metro and then reached the level having the entrance to the ground level of the tallest building.It is also important to arrive 30 mins before your scheduled time, because of the line to go inside. From the ground level to the 124th floor is by a super fast elevator and swish there in one minute. It is a wonderful place to enjoy a city view, specially during the sunset. Step out into the observation deck and Dubai lies below you like a map. Awesome. The first time I went I spent three hours having the overall view from day, sunset and night, which are completely different experiences. In the night, when you’re at the top, you could actually hear the music from the fountain show in the mall below. A genuine icon of the modern age. Caution take lots of your own pictures. They will try and sell you ridiculously priced photos at the end of the tour. There is a gift shop inside as well, you can buy a lot of stuff. Worth the time and a great attraction to see while in Dubai. The hard work and struggle from the beginning till the end of the construction, techniques and mechanisms used the men behind the construction of the building are depicted and notified in your return from the top. Its one of the best memories of my life and I recommend it to anyone who has come here as a tourist or a new resident in UAE.
