Good place for family picnic
As the park is wide there is a lot heat at noon
Nice clean park to spend a day with the family, the ticket costs AED 3 to enter per person which helps to maintain the park, park with a natural beauty and lush green grounds, it's very wide and not crowded all the time as other play lands and parks, an awesome place for families to spend the day when the weather is good. Barbecue is allowed, highly recommend to visit once and feel relax

Description:

One of Dubai’s most popular parks, Safa Park is a leafy sanctuary in the middle of the city.

Although bordered by the busy Sheikh Zayed Road, the park delivers a complete escape from the hustle and bustle of Dubai. It’s a quiet spot where people come to read books in secret gardens, and runners jog around the track.

Ball games, barbecues and picnics at Safa Park

While locals frequently make use of the sports facilities including tennis and basketball courts, the park is bustling with new visitors too. You’ll find a huge range of nationalities heading to this green spot to take in the beautiful views of Downtown Dubai and the Dubai Water Canal.

Rent a bike for a few dirhams and explore the park, or enjoy a tranquil afternoon in the green. Families frequent Safa Park for picnics, using the permanent barbecues set up around the edge of the park.

With all the facilities for a family day out, Safa Park is a destination worth heading to for the day. It’s alive from morning to night, especially on the weekends. Most of the attractions are accessible to all, and the park is designed to cater for those with special needs, referred to as 'people of determination' in the UAE.
