a lot of different spices
high prices
The entrance to the spice market is located directly on Dubai Creek. The place is crowded, visited by both locals and tourists. Here everything looks very colorful and bright and spices lying on the shelves in small bags and standing in large bags next to the sellers. Here you can buy cinnamon, lavender, hibiscus, pepper, cardamom, saffron and many, many other spices that are not very familiar and different, as well as different varieties of tea, coffee, dates, dried fruits, local lollipops made from natural juices. Eyes run up from this joyful picture, and I want to buy everything.

Description:

Dubai Spice Souk or the Old Souk is a traditional market in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Spice Souk is located in eastern Dubai, in Deira and is adjacent to the Dubai Gold Souk. The Spice Souk, situated on Baniyas Street, is in the locality of Al Ras.
In this small covered market home to more than 150 small retailers, spices are shipped in daily from India, Pakistan and Iran, and neatly displayed in burlap sacks in front of each teeny shopfront, alongside dried fruit, nuts, basmati rice, incense burners, henna kits and tea.
