Review about Malabar Express Restaurant from Gehani Priya

Good customer service, South Indian food, family hangout Spicy Kanthari fish and prawns
I had visited this restaurant for organizing TV shoot of a production company. It is located in Karama area of Dubai. The shoot was carried out for about 3 hours and the manager was really helpful to provide us with some utensils required for the work. I could also see their kitchen from outside and understood how much effort they take to prepare their items. I really liked the ambiance and the interiors, it is done extremely well especially the the 1st floor which resembles a train from both inside and outside. This place is quite spacious and has quite a number of tables to dine-in. The seating is very comfortable and cozy. We were very hungry after the shoot so I thought of trying food here.They’re very generous to give welcome juice drinks, rose water and papadam. Food really exceeded expectations. With the suggestion of my colleagues (since I am a North Indian) I had some Kerala Porotta and Malabar Chicken Tawa which is quite delicious. Then I tried Kanthari Fish and Prawns which is very very spicy. I also tried the Custard apple cream. The tummy was full with these mouth watering items. At the end, I did a take away of chicken lolipop for my family and not to my surprise they were very happy with the taste. The quality and quantity of food is good. Prices are also pocket-friendly. The presentation of the dishes are commendable. Customer service is amazing and staff is attentive. The cleanliness and hygiene also a striking feature of this restaurant. The weekends are usually very busy as it is the best family hangout for South Indians. Baby chairs are also available. You can find a paid parking close to this place. It is not nearby any metro station so better to take a taxi to reach the location.
