Good customer service, spicy and tasty dishes
Burnt Rotis, salad not fresh, cleanliness of outlet not good
Pak liyari restaurant is one of my favorite outlets in Bur Dubai and is rated among the top 5 best biryanis in UAE. My father usually does a take away from this restaurant. The packaging is done appropriately. The mutton biryani and mutton paya are a lethal combo. The mutton paya was a little too liquid-ey but full of flavor and went perfectly with crispy tandoor and the fragnant biryani. I have also visited this place with my sister. The ambiance is simple. Cleanliness is not so good. It gives you a feel that you are in a typical Pakistani restaurant with long narrowed hall with sitting arrangements in both the sides of the passage and cash counters at both ends. It doesn’t have a vast range of items to select from in their menu. I loved their Chana masala, it melts in the mouth with a tangy gravy. There is a thing about Pakistani food- the spiciness skips the throat but burns the throat. I think it's the whole garam masalas talking! Their white roast, anda chana, grilled items like seekh kabab and chicken tikka are succulent. Desserts like zafrani kheer is amazing. Sometimes we also order chicken Karahi, qeema, Bhindi, Aloo palak, mix veg with naan/roti is drool-worthy. Salads and raita are also available for extra cost. Though their roti was a little burnt and qeema was a bit watery but the taste was awesome. The salad is not fresh also. The quantity is good but quality can improve. Prices are affordable and pocket friendly. Customer service is quick and staff is friendly. During Ramadan, a lot of offices like to place an order of their chicken biryani to provide food to their colleagues for Iftar. I would recommend this restaurant to those who want to add some extra calories to their intake with the tasty Pakistani cuisine.

Description:

The Pakistani restaurant has been in business since 2005. The hero of the restaurant is a Pakistani chef Ali Mohammed, who hails from Liyari, a small town in Pakistan. Coming from a family of master chefs, the 52-year old chacha started his cooking journey way back 1986 in Dubai’s Lyari hotel.

Pak Liyari serves a range of mutton and chicken biryani, each better than the other. Biryanis aside, the restaurant also serves vegetarian curries, chicken and mutton barbecue, steamed and seasoned lentils and salad. And finally, when you’re done gorging on the flavourful rice, finish your meal with a tall glass of Zafrani Kheer.
