Review about Puranmal Vegetarian from Gehani Priya

Puranmal is best known chain of restaurants for vegetarian lovers. I usually have meals from the Bur Dubai outlet since I stay in this area. It usually gets very crowded here on public holidays. The ambiance of the place is average. Customer service is a bit slow. The cleanliness and staff hygiene is seen. The seating arrangement is inside and quite comfortable. If you have a knee injury it’s better to avoid the place as you have to climb upstairs.  I have tried their chaat items among which the ragda pattice was soggy and sev puri had too much garlic. The aloo paratha and dal pakwan is delicious. I love their Chinese food also such as Paneer Chilly Dry, Veg Spring Rolls, Schezwan Fried Rice and Cauliflower Manchurian. Among the desserts I prefer having the kesar ras malai and in beverages the badam pista milkshake and fruit punch are the best. My father loves their Punjabi thali and usually does a take away on weekends. The paneer makhni and dal fry dishes are yummy but very pricey as compared to other restaurants. The quality of thali food is good but it’s unlimited only if you dine-in (for packing you pay extra charges). The packaging is done well in disposable plastic containers and foil paper. It is not preferable to ask for home delivery since they arrive very late! For occasions like house-warming or Rakshabandan we prefer to purchase sweets and namkeens from this restaurant. The ones that are liked by our circle of people include the son papri, mungfali gur ki chikki, banana chips, Aloo bhujia, Chana dal, masala peanuts, tasty triangle. Overall I would recommend it to anyone who likes to have the best sweets along with mouth-watering dishes. Also they give you the best variety of food and hence it is a must try!
