Review about Puri Restaurant from Gehani Priya

Good variety of Indian dishes, service is quick Less quantity of chole as compared to batoore
The Puri restaurant is very famous in Bur Dubai, Meena Bazaar area. It is located close to some of the famous designer clothing and jewelry shops. The ambiance of the restaurant is fine. They have indoor seating arrangement and presentable dining tables always having a tissue box, jug of drinking water, stainless steel glasses, two chutneys and green chillies. The space is small so you cannot think of accommodating a large group of 30-40 friends for celebrating your birthday or a treat. The place is crowded by the workers of shops close to the restaurant. Prices are reasonable and worth the quality and quantity of food and beverages served. They serve the best bread pakora and Chola Bahtoora. Bread pakora is basically deep fried spiced potato sandwich sprinkled with chat masala. It's scrumptious. Chola Bahtoora is a longish shaped Puri. Soft and crispy at the same time. Quantity of chole is less compared to size of bahtoora but they give you extra also (you have to ask for it!) . This is usually served with carrot and pickle, onions. Due to this reason it is my all time favorite, so yummy. The only thing to watch out for is their timing. Chola Bahtoora and Bread Pakoda are only available during breakfast 8 AM -12 PM and snacks 3 PM - 8 PM respectively. Staff is friendly and service is good. The food hygiene doesn’t go unnoticed. The place is clean especially the hand station which is well equipped with tissues and hand soap. We usually like to ask for a home delivery especially on women’s day, the ladies of my family love eating their Chicken Sweet Corn Soup, Sindhi Mutton, Tuk Aloo, Peas Pulao. They lick their fingers with these delicious items. Sometimes I prefer to do a take away of their breakfast and I like the Masala Omelet, Onion koki and Tea. The packaging is done appropriately with disposable plastic containers and foil paper. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to try different varieties of Indian food in one place.
