Quantity is good, prices expensive, simple interiors, tasty food
Quality can become better
Sind Punjab is a very famous restaurant especially for its North Indian variety of food. It is located in Bur Dubai area. I especially love the spices and ingredients which they use to prepare the food with. I usually come here with my family to have dinner especially if any of my relatives visit us from India, we definitely prefer eating here! The ambiance of the restaurant is positive and the interiors looks a bit simple. They have adequate seating and we dine upstairs. Staff is friendly and service is a bit slow. They provide clean plates and cutlery. The best food and beverages on my list of favorites includes Paneer Tikka Roll, Reshmi Kabab, Vegetable Seekh Kabab, Butter Chicken, Pindi Chhole, Tandoori Butter Naan, Roomali Rooti, Dal Fry, Masala Papad, Chocolate Shake, Bombay Glass Falooda and Stick kulfi which are out of the world! Well to explain a little in detail, The Reshmi Kabab consists of boneless chicken pieces marinated in yoghurt and mild spices barbecued to a taste on charcoal. The Butter Chicken is barbecued chicken cooked in rich and creamy tomato gravy. The Pindi Chole consist of chickpeas flavored with tea leaves and tempered with ginger and green chilly. The presentation and quality of the dishes are fantastic. They usually give salad, yoghurt chutney and pickle with food. We usually do a takeaway or ask for delivery at the doorstep in case my mom has her kitty party at home. Her group of friends usually eat only vegetarian stuff so we prefer ordering scrumptious items like Dal Makhani, Paneer Makhanwala, Vegetable Malai kofta, Roti, Kulcha Chole and Rotis. The packaging is done appropriately using disposable plastic containers and they charge extra for it. The prices are a bit high but the quantity of the food is good. Quality is average though but definitely a must try for non-vegetarian lovers. Overall I recommend this to everyone who wants to have a hot and spicy dinner!

Description:

Indian restaurant

Like a fine wine, some restaurants only get better over time and such is the case with Sind Punjab, the first family eatery to open in Meena Bazaar in 1977. It still has a feverish local following for its finger-lickin' northern Indian specialities like butter chicken and dal makhani (a rich black-lentil and kidney-bean stew).
