Review about Hōseki from Lavrenets Kateryna
Sushi of excellent quality and other dishes prepared by the chef a few steps from you. There are 9 seats in the restaurant, and there are two menus in which the chef in front of you (only 2 by 9) will serve you wonderfully served Japanese sushi / sashimi. The restaurant is very basic. It is dark but lit through the lights of the Dubai skyline. The service is excellent and everyone is very attentive.

Japanese restaurant
HÅseki serves as intimate a meal as is possible within a restaurant â this minimalist destination only has nine seats where guests enjoy an omakase (chefâs choice) tailored experience from Masahiro Sugiyama. Each course is based on the preferences of those seated at the counter, as well as on the freshest ingredients available, meaning no two meals are exactly alike. It may have a view over the Dubai skyline, but guests are also up close to the knife skills of Sugiyama, a sixth-generation sushi master. Expect the likes of fatty tuna cheek, foie gras-like monkfish liver and seared octopus tentacles alongside sushi rolls and Japanese omelettes. Pricey, decadent and experiential.
