Provides good grip, but might be too "grippy" for some exercises. For example, one of my kettlebells has a smooth metal handle, and these gloves can get in the way of the kettlebell's rotation during a swing.
Also, while the wrist band is adjustable, the palm and fingers of the gloves are not. I'd say my hands are in the small to medium range, and these gloves are a tight fit.
