Book Description
A rare combination of dogs and decor, which fills a void in the marketplace for consumers who are interested in both topics. Dogs remain a perennial popular topic world-wide - in the U.S. alone, approximately 37 percent of all households have a pet dog. Contains the top 10 most popular dog breeds including Labrador Retrievers, French Bulldogs, German Shepherds, and Beagles. Envision opulent manors, modern homes, rustic charmers, and traditional abodes. What do so many of these homes have in common? The family dog, of course. In Sara Essex Bradley's career as an interior design photographer, she's been inside homes that amaze her, some that inspire her, and some that outright confuse her. However, the one constant in all of these beautiful spaces is the furry friend, the loyal companion, the ever-forgiven ruiner of fine fabrics - the loyal pooch. These breeds are as varied as their owner's tastes, but be they French Bulldog, Labradoodle, Dachshund or Corgi, they all seem to fit seamlessly with their chosen decor. Join Bradley on this visual tour of these beautiful spaces, with their humbling canine caretakers the final piece to complete the composition of a home.

However polished the decor, however stylish the owners... this book proves that dogs will still be dogs; poodles who hide socks, fluffy Havaneses who roll on the grass when not sitting on carefully curated investment pieces.--Felicity Cloake "Daily Mail " New design book, 'Dog Decor, ' celebrates fabulous interiors and furry family members. SUSAN LANGENHENNIG "NEW ORLEANS HOME AND GARDEN, July 6, 2017 " For Fans of Dogs and Design: While I do love all snuggly house pets, I consider myself to be "a dog person."--JESSICA DEBOLD "New Orleans Magazine, July 2017 " A sweet read for dog lovers especially....--Jessica Debold "New Orleans Magazine " Dog Decor: Canines Living Large is a gorgeous coffee table tome released this week that combines two of my favorite things: fabulous interiors and furry family members....The presence of a prized canine (beloved rescue or pampered pedigree) adds a dose of realism -- yes, a family really does live here -- to these pristine settings.--Susan Langenhennig "The Times-Picayune " The family dog and high decor might not seem natural partners, but Sara Essex Bradley's new book, Dog Decor: Canines Living Large reveals how beloved canines become a central part of many households, often claiming the best seat in the house.--Kandace Graves "Gambit Magazine " Bradley's photos document some of the most fashionable homes in the Big Easy and beyond, and the pages deliver abundant design inspiration, with a beloved pup or two at the center of each.--Anne Hammock "Florida Times-Union, 7/27/17 "
