Review about The Decision Book from Ferrer Anne
So many things to appreciate about THE DECISION. I normally am not a fan of audio books, but this one is a must-listen. In his signature voice and style Kevin Hart showcases what it takes to not just win but have the staying power that makes us a force to be reckoned with. There will be mistakes, there will be trial and error, but if we're able to stick with it then there is no way we can't make it. Success will look different for us all, but success is possible once you make the decision that failure isn't an option.
The Decision Book
A short, sharp guide to tackling lifeâs biggest challenges: understanding ourselves and making the right choices.
Every day offers moments of decision, from what to eat for lunch to how to settle a dispute with a colleague. Still larger questions loom: How can I motivate my team? How can I work more efficiently? What is the long tail anyway?
Whether youâre a newly minted MBA, a chronic second-guesser, or just someone eager for a new vantage point, The Decision Book presents fifty models for better structuring, and subsequently understanding, lifeâs steady challenges. Interactive and thought-provoking, this illustrated workbook offers succinct summaries of popular strategies, including the Rubber Band Model for dilemmas with many directions, the Personal Performance Model to test whether to change jobs, and the Black Swan Model to illustrate why experience doesnât guarantee wisdom. Packed with familiar tools like the Pareto Principle, the Prisonerâs Dilemma, and an unusual exercise inspired by Warren Buffet, The Decision Book is the ideal reference for flexible thinkers. 58 illustrations
