About the Author
Paramita Mukherjee is Dean (Academics) and Associate Professor (Economics) at International Management Institute (IMI), Kolkata. She is an alumnus of Presidency College, Kolkata, has completed MS in quantitative economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, and PhD in economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She has more than 18 years of varied experience in industry, research and teaching. She has worked with AC Nielsen (formerly ORG MARG), ICRA and reputed business schools such as IBS, Kolkata, and Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata. She teaches courses on economics, statistics, business analytics, financial econometrics, financial institutions and markets and time series analysis. She has conducted management development programmes (MDPs) with Confederation of Industries in India (CII), Kolkata. She also has experience of handling consulting assignments in the power sector.
