Shorttitle The study established that orphaned children were disadvantaged in their learning.According to the findings the lack of basic school requirements, numerous household chores and peer pressure made their learning difficult.This study recommends that orphaned children should be provided with basic school needs and not be overburdened by household chores and other responsibilities.Non governmental organisations and victim friendly organisations should intensify the assistance rendered to orphaned children via the schools.
