The present work, study, design and construction of a hybrid kart prototype is a personal initiative. The hybrid mode combines two energy sources, one thermal and the other electric. The vehicle can reach 40 km / h in electric mode for one hour of autonomy for a power of 4.8 kW and 110 km / h in thermal mode for a power of 9.6 kW / 13 PS. The switching between the two energy sources is done through an Arduino programming card. The kart is equipped with four batteries mounted in series to get 48 Volts and an alternator to charge the batteries. The structure of the kart is a chassis similar to that of a karting vehicle.
