Book Description
The premises which constitute the starting point for the structure of the book were considered: European (pre) federalist practices; the existence of federalism theorists, even in communities where attempts to impose federalism have failed (the French case); the rediscovery of certain principles (subsidiarity) which subsequently became intrinsic to European federalism (and to the process of European construction); the existence of European federalist currents that supported a different vision (personalist federalism); If the resolution of a problem gives way to another problem, the new problem appeared was that of the existence (or nonexistence) of a point of intersection or a common place of all these variables. Hypothesis: consider personalism and federalism as two possible responses to the various attempts to achieve a united Europe. Finding answers was not at all an easy way, the necessary diachronic approach necessarily imposing a coherent coordination of the work, both from a chronological point of view and from presented ideas.
