The Blended Wing Body aircraft is based on the flying wing concept and has improved performance compared to conventional aircraft. The main objective of this study is to carry out the conceptual design of a 200-passenger BWB-type aircraft and to compare the performance achieved with a typical A320 equivalent aircraft in terms of passenger numbers and range. An optimization process is implemented in order to obtain improved performances while respecting the constraints.
