The first part of the work highlights the link between health and physical activity. Practicing soft mobility is a possibility of doing regular physical activity at a low price. The second part consists of an analysis of soft mobility and physical activity in the cantons of Vaud and Geneva, based on the 2005 micro transport census. It assesses the influence of age, gender and the typology of the home on physical activity and soft mobility.
