About the Author
Ruth Ravid, PhD, is professor emerita of education at National Louis University. She is the recipient of the AERA SIG Award for School-University Collaborative Research Service (2010), the NLU Faculty Excellence in Service Award (2004), and the Phi Delta Kappa Service Award (1999). Ravid has also co-authored a number of books, including Action Research in Education: A Practical Guide (with S. E. Efron, 2013), Collaboration in Education (with J. Slater, 2010), Practical Statistics for Business: An Introduction to Business Statistics (with P. Haan, 2008), and The Many Faces of School-University Collaboration: Characteristics of Successful Partnerships (with M. G. Handler, 2001).
