Like any other company exposed to increased competition, any airline is under an obligation to control its costs. Our project is part of this perspective with the objective of controlling the configuration of aircraft engines that have a crucial part of the aircraft, given the significant costs incurred in terms of maintenance. For this, we started by determining the current state of engine configuration. In order to build the desired state of this configuration called Minimum Standard, we have analyzed the various engine failures, before looking for the appropriate solutions in terms of Service Bulletins (SB) that are important elements in maintenance preventive engines. We subsequently established an economic study whose role is the filtering of this standard minimum. Finally, a computer application has been developed to control the evolution of these two configurations (current and desired). At the end of the results of our project, the Service Bulletin processing process has become more complete.
