Book Description
Land Administrative Corruption (LAC) is one of the most serious problems in current land administration system of China. The authors specifically develop a multi-factor analysis method for LAC studies, which argued that the institutional loopholes in the land administration system would unavoidably create corruptive opportunities; while facing these opportunities, officials' decision would be determined by the factors from economic, social and psychological aspects, which presents the uncertainty of LAC occurrence. The method integrates all four factors into one holistic analytical scope; especially focuses on the interrelations and interactions among factors, by which the book suggested the feasible improvements and reforms in curbing LAC in China. For readers who are interested in Chinese land tenure system, land administration system, and corruptions in land administration as well as in land market would have some general information and understandings from this book. For those who like to study LAC issues in a country, especially for those who are looking for a new perspective and instrument for the study should find this book very useful.
