Book Description
The public policy of educational decentralization carried out since the signing of the National Agreement for the Modernization of Basic and Normal Education (ANMEB) in 1992, with the aim of raising the quality of the education system and made the federal entities responsible for the basic education services they provide within their state jurisdiction and those who must do so in accordance with the general guidelines imposed by the national education programs. However, educational decentralization has not been comprehensive, because the field of action of state educational systems has been reduced by the restrictions they face in responding to national guidelines and the improvement of the educational quality of students in the country. Basic education is still a goal to achieve.
