Book Description
The present work examines and analyzes the macro- and micro-political processes, interests, strategy and power options of the involved actors with regard to the complex discussion of success and effectiveness in social work. Qualitative access is provided by current developments in integration assistance for disabled people in the light of the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities. The starting point for further analyzes is the hypothesis that the actors involved in the service process are guided not only by technical arguments in the specific definition of successful and effective work, but also by individual, political, economic and professional interests.
