Book Description
The context of evolution of urbanity in Dakar is combined with the emergence and / or affirmation of identity logics. Religion has become, through networks, an important factor in territorial construction. The "network-territories" formed could thus combine all the relationships that are being woven within the different urban structures. And parallel to the administrative geography, Christian geography evolves with its own structuring governed by two models: punctual and surface. It is through the behaviors and strategies developed by the community to integrate socio- religious in the urban that territoriality is emerging. For the most part, membership in community or community networks is not systematic. belonging to the geographical entity or the structure hosting them is often necessary. One of the main rules of the functioning of the socio-religious networks is that they bring out two levels of occurrences to be interested: the individual level of the faithful and the collective level of the network organization.
