Book Description
Recent years have been marked by the rise of information and communication technologies (ICT) in all areas of activity. These ICTs promise effects that are not often systematic. Thus, a reflection on use behavior deserves to be advanced to understand why the expected objectives are not always achieved. The use is a complex concept and raises questions as to the meaning as on its measurement. This implies the passage of a totally dichotomous vision of the works according to which the individuals adopt or reject the technologies towards a temporal and processual approach. This book therefore seeks to answer the following problematic: Beyond acceptance, What are the factors that influence the evolution of the process of using an extranet and make it possible to achieve continuous use? Motivated by a desire to explore a field and technology little studied before, this book bases its conclusions on a longitudinal case study in six universities in France.
