For my end-of-studies internship, in Master II, "territory and local development," I was recruited from a community in the Mont-Saint-Michel Bay Country. My only ten-year-old son, my husband left at our old address, I went to discover the rural, an area I did not know at all. Coming from the outside to highlight elements often assimilated by the locals, it is we, in the end, who we found enriched. More than a study or an ethnological survey, it is also, through this writing, the description of all that can be investigated, the multiplicity of ways to proceed.
