big collection of cars
far from city
This is a private collection of cars of one of the sheikhs, for 30 years more than 200 pieces of unique cars have gathered here. The main dominant is an American pickup truck the height of a three-story house, it was also very interesting to see the Rolls-Royce once owned by the Queen of England. The place is located 45 kilometers from the city and if you are somewhere nearby it is worth stopping by.

Description:

Museum featuring a vast collection of vintage & modified cars, trucks & military vehicles.

Some 45 kilometres south of Abu Dhabi city, this ‘pyramid’ houses around 200 cars belonging to HH Sheikh Hamad Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan.

There is a vast collection of off-road vehicles and classic American cars, the Sheikh's Mercedes rainbow collection and the world's largest truck. Some of the collection was featured in the BBC television programme Top Gear.

This is a fascinating collection and a great place to stop on the way to or from Liwa.
