During the Partition of India in 1947, Mr. J.K Kapur left everything behind to migrate to Bombay from modern-day Pakistan. He always wanted to share with the city, the culinary experience reminiscent of his years growing up near the North West Frontier Province and in November 1972, his love for food took shape as the first Copper Chimney in Bombay. At the heart of our restaurant are our chefs who are referred to as Ustads. They are artists we nurture and train for decades. Their expertise about quality of ingredients, their know-how of textures and tastes of our cuisine, their wisdom about cooking techniques and their experience in the kitchen sets them apart, and in turn our food too.
