Description:

A truly authentic taste of Levantine dining is as much about generous, traditional service as it is the delicious cuisine. The story of Yalla Saj begins on the streets of Lebanon. For those who know the streets well, will relate to the aromas of fresh, healthy food and the sounds of families, friends, and travelers enjoying it all together that fill them but this isn’t your typical foodspiration.

It began with an allure of a woman who drew our founder to a street stall completely mesmerized. Having Saj from the stall was an excuse to strike a conversation but all it took was a bite to leave him further perplexed. It was him finding ambrosia, leaving his taste buds in awe, his heart and mind in marvel as to, how a wrap could taste so luscious that he would want to ignore the beauty before him.

After an experience such as that he returned often to admire the beauty and enjoy scrumptious wraps but work eventually led him to Dubai where he soon missed the heart pumping flavorful and scrumptious Saj wraps and the sight of her.

Thus, Yalla Saj a fast casual eatery in the heart of Dubai was born to allow himself to re-experience that and hopefully share the same feelings he experienced with others. He was no cook, but by engaging in a profound exploration of Levantine territory and tradition, the expression of which can be found in the absolute concentration of flavors guided by conceptual premise in the food we are dedicated to reconstructing the sensation and the warmth of hospitality that our founder felt back in Lebanon.

The dishes are reminiscent of what you’d find in the kitchens of traditional Lebanese families. From the perfectly smooth Hummus to the fresh and crisp saj shawarma wraps, the food brings a true taste of Levant to Dubai.
