Description:
COLLECTIBLE - World War II prompted the rationing of many commodities. Nickel was highly valued for use in armor plating, and Congress ordered the removal of this metal from the five-cent piece, effective October 8, 1942. From that date, and lasting through the end of 1945, five-cent pieces bore the regular design but were minted from an alloy of copper, silver and manganese. The Wartime Jefferson Nickel is composed of 35% silver.
QUALITY & DETAIL - An inspiring collectible celebrating the birth of the nation. The front of this knife's wood-grain handle frames the coin in the stars and stripes of a waving American flag. The knife blade is approximately 3 inches long. Stainless steel blade is not sharpened when shipped. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
UNIQUE GIFT - Looking for a gift for a birthday, anniversary or graduation, mark the year with a genuine United States Coin Pocket Knife. Coins are Collectible, Educational and Historical.
